“Yuji Ohno Best Hits” video performance goes live on YouTube!

The official YouTube account for composer and musician Yuji Ohno has been uploading snippets from his recent January 2022 concert!

“Yuji Ohno Best Hits” featured new performances of classic tracks by Ohno, his band, and a live orchestra. The explosive show also included a smattering of special guest stars, including popular vocalist Shigeru Matsuzaki, who recently featured on the soundtrack of 2019’s Prison of the Past. Since the live show, the album has now released on CD, Digital, DVD, and Blu-ray.

While we did not write about it on the website at the time, Yuji Ohno’s social media accounts reported that the much loved composer had fallen ill towards the end of March, and was admitted to hospital. Understandably, a couple of concerts in the Spring were then postponed while our man recovers. We are yet to receive any further news on this—however, since the PR machine for his music and concerts has spun up again, I believe we currently have no reason to worry.
