Part 4 finally comes to home video in Italy this July!
The long awaited home video release of 2015’s Lupin III: Part 4 is coming to Italy on the 20th of July 2022!
Can you believe the series, which first released in AND is set within Italy, has not made the jump from digital to physical media there?
Despite Italy being considered Lupin’s second home by many, partially thanks to its high popularity in the country since it first aired there back in the 1970s / 1980s, fans in Italy have traditionally been left in the dark regarding home video releases. Thankfully, the wait for Part 4, at least, is almost over, as the set is to join the recent uncut home version of Part 3 on DVD and Blu-ray later this summer.
All twenty-six episodes are due to feature as part of the set, and both of the Italian and Japanese language versions are present. The Japanese version retains the original soundtrack for Part 4, by Yuji Ohno, whereas a replacement soundtrack by Papik features alongside all international dubs.
The DVD version will retail with a recommended price of €50, whereas the Blu-ray will sit at €60. For those feeling a little more generous and willing to treat themselves, there is a special edition Blu-ray variant which includes a Lupin and Rebecca wedding figurine, retailing for the tidy sum of €100.
Additional special features are expected to be revealed closer to the set’s release date. Stay tuned to the Yamato Video Facebook page for further information!
