Discotek announce Anime Boston panel!
Ah, yes. It's that time of the year again.
A time when fans of Japanese anime are buried under a pile of exciting announcements. A time in which we remember obscure American cartoons from time gone by. A time during which friend of the site Drew Hunter opens up his wallet, and rinses it clean on yet another anime pre-order haul.
That's right—it's Discotek Day babyyy.
The popular American licence and distribution company will be present at Anime Boston this Saturday, on the 28th of May 2022. The panel is due to start nice and early—at 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific time, and will have Michael Toole of Anime News Network on hosting duties.
Those in attendance can expect trailers, clips, announcements, prizes, and more! For those not lucky enough to be at Anime Boston, all news from the panel will be posted on Discotek's Twitter account during the panel.
Can we expect to see any Lupin III content? Yes.
While not guaranteed, Discotek Media never disappoint with their Lupin output, and typically have something to show for their panels and live streams. Considering we have recently seen HD releases of Part 1, The Mystery of Mamo, and First Contact—with Prison of the Past on the way—it may be good to temper expectations.
