Lupin features in Manga-News!
Popular French publication Manga-News has dedicated a special post to the works of Lupin III.
The article features information regarding the series history, along with how the character has been portrayed to French audiences over the years.
Due to copyright issues with the Maurice Leblanc estate on the authors home turf, Lupin III was redubbed as Edgar, Détective Cambrioleur (Edgar, the Detective Burglar) for many years. It was only until recently, with the Blu-ray release of Lupin III: Part I, that the production team/s behind the show have been able to reference the original Arsène Lupin name in France.
