Tokyo Crisis comes to Amazon Prime!

The 1998 TV special, Lupin III: Tokyo Crisis, is now available in North America digitally via Amazon Prime.

As with Dragon of Doom, only the mid-2000’s FUNimation English dub is available, with no Japanese language option on offer (you will have to pick up the recently released Discotek Media Blu-ray for that, we suppose)!

It’s likely you are already aware that this is one of the stronger Lupin specials, but just in case you haven’t seen it yet, have a read of the synopsis below and be sure to check it out!

A BLAZING CRISIS IN TOKYO, OR THE PHOTO OP OF A LIFETIME?

Master cat burglar Lupin the Third tries every trick in the book to intercept two old glass photographic plates from being delivered to a mysterious art dealer, named Mr. Suzuki.

Lupin’s plan misfires, and it doesn’t help matters that Goemon and Jigen are suffering from...efficiency problems. And we can’t forget the dogged Inspector Zenigata, who has a new tagalong in the Lupin chase: the beautiful young reporter Maria. But what is Maria’s connection to the mysterious Mr. Suzuki?
