Samba Temperado features in latest Jam mix!
The 2019 version of Samba Temperado, as featured in the 3DCG animated film Lupin III: The First, stars in the latest Lupin III Jam remix track!
The song, which originally made its debut in the 1979 Hayao Miyazaki classic The Castle of Cagliostro, has been a familiar tune for the franchise ever since - with updated versions included in Lupin III: Part IV, The Last Job and more!
This latest version of the track comes from artist Fox Capture Plan, who as writes on Twitter, hopes fans can appreciate their effort bringing new life to such a famous tune! The legendary Yuji Ohno is of course, the songs original composer.
An animated music video version of the song can be watched below - but you can also pick it up digitally through stores such as iTunes and Prime Music, or listen via your music streaming service of choice.
The Lupin III Jam remix album is due to receive a full album release later this year.
Pre-orders go up for the physical release in Japan on March 13th, 2021. Two formats of the album will be released - an audio CD version and a 12” inch LP.
As an added extra, the physical release will feature two exclusive bonus tracks - one of which is a long awaited remix of the Zenigata March, a personal favourite of ours!
The 12” inch LP vinyl record version is currently up for pre-order on import in North America, so if you have the equipment and don’t want to miss out, be sure to order a copy from RightStufAnime.com today!
Aside from the two bonus tracks included in the physical release, Samba Temperado marks the final track to be released from the Lupin III Jam album.
It has been a fun ride to post these updates, and we hope you have enjoyed following along and listening to each new release. It has certainly made the winter months a bit more bearable, and we have come out of it and are moving into Spring with one of the best Lupin III remix albums to date. Long live the Jam!
