Lupin III: The First is due to release on digital and physical media in France this summer!

The 2019 3D animated film originally hit French theatres during 2020, however its run was cut short due to lockdown restrictions related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A return to the cinema for the film is still planned, however restrictions are still in place and it is too early for distributer EuroZoom to know when this will be.

Regardless - fans living in France can watch the film digitally from July 7th and pick up a DVD or Blu-ray version from August 25th.

The physical media release comes in a collectors edition variant, similar to that of the Bresson Diary edition seen in Japan. Details on what the collectors edition contains is to become available in due course, as for the moment, all that has been revealed is that the film comes in special packaging mimicking the Bresson Diary treasure seen in the film.

For more details, be sure to keep an eye on EuroZoom’s social media accounts via Twitter and Facebook.

Big thanks to Guillaume for the heads up!
