Second "Lupin the Third Jam" remix track now available!
The second track from the recently announced Lupin III: Jam remix album is now available!
This track, which comes two weeks after the release of AmPm’s first remix, has been composed by popular Japanese artist Kan Sano.
As you can likely already tell by the header of this post - Sano has created a funky version of Yuji Ohno’s Love Squall, a song which is often associated with femme fatale Fujiko Mine!
Vocals are performed by none other than Sayuri Ishikawa - who if you don’t know her, is kind of a big deal and considered one of the most prominent Japanese enka singers of all time!
Check out the video version on YouTube below, which includes artwork of Fujiko Mine from the late Monkey Punch!
More artists have already been announced, with remixes to come from the likes of banvox, Moe Shop, WONK and YUC’e. If we were to guess, going by this image over on the official Twitter account, YUC’e should be up next!
Both tracks have been absolute fire, and we’re feeling this remix album is likely to be the best the series is had in well over a decade. It’s genuinely exciting to thinking about what track will be next, and how it will sound!
We will be sure to post the next song once it becomes available, as at the time of writing, future release dates have yet to be confirmed. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled and for now - LOVE SQUALL, IT’S MY LOVEEEE.
