Gallery: Part I
Following on from our recent Top Picks post, we wanted to share some images from the original Lupin III animated series, Part I.
Despite the anime releasing in 1971 - 1972, the visuals still hold up. The colourful cast of characters are never dull, and Hayao Miyazaki’s unique animation style makes them feel expressive and a joy to watch in the later episodes.
Whether you’re a fan of Masaaki Ōsumi’s slightly darker, edgier style - or Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata’s more family friendly interpretation, there is a lot to love in the green jacket series and we recommend you give it a watch!
