"Neighbor World Princess" chapters one and two out now!
The first two chapters of the Isekai Lupin III manga series, Neighbor World Princess, are now available in Japan!
Announced last week, the new series based on Monkey Punch’s original characters is to run as part of Weekly Shonen Champion, a popular magazine publication in Japan that is primarily aimed at a target market of young males.
The series sees Lupin and his gang become transported to an alternate universe - one filled with castles, royalty, monsters… and treasure! The manga contains art by Keyaki Uchiuchi, story by Yousuke Saeki and character design by Hairan.
Both chapters one and two are included in this weeks bumper debut issue, with total length coming in at sixty-six pages. Cover artwork for the first chapter can be seen below.
Avid social media users have been sharing photos and videos of an advertisement for the series, which can be spotted at Shinjuku subway station in Tokyo.
There are currently no plans for a translation of the manga outside of Japan, and as many previous Lupin III releases still remain untranslated, we fear a localisation is unlikely.
