South Korea to receive new Cagliostro release!
The Castle of Cagliostro will be getting a new release on Blu-ray in South Korea!
The creative edition Blu-ray set features a gorgeous slip cover similar to the that of the 2014 Japanese box artwork, which was included as part of the Hayao Miyazaki collection. The set also includes a couple of post cards featuring art from the film, along with a booklet.
While the release has been announced over on Facebook, a date is yet to be set. Keep your eyes peeled for more details!
Stefano Onofri makes public statement about COVID-19
Stefano Onofri the current Italian voice actor for Lupin III has taken to social media, spreading the word regarding COVID-19.
Onofri appeals to his Italian audience, advising people stay indoors and follow the rules the government is setting out before them. Europe is currently at the epicentre of the virus, and likely many people will be told to remain indoors for the weeks and months ahead.
The first feature length 3DCG film, Lupin III: The First was planned for a release in Italy this February, complete with an Italian language dub. Due to the mass closure of cinemas and theatres across the globe, the film’s release has now been postponed until later in the year.

With medicinal and political news as it is, it is becoming easier than ever to feel defeated and fall into a bit of a rut.
Thankfully, as fans of Lupin III, there is a lot we can do to keep feeling positive and help take our mind off of things (especially for those who are to remain indoors for the next couple of weeks)!
Why not stick on a Lupin film or TV special you may have missed? There are so many fun ones available - we would recommend watching Operation: Return the Treasure, Sweet Lost Night, Another Page, or Legend of the Gold of Babylon, if you fancy a bit of a laugh.
Now would also be a good time to immerse yourself in the music of Yuji Ohno and friends. Many of the gangs work is available to purchase and stream via Amazon, iTunes and Spotify (depending on your region).
