Lupin III: Dragon of Doom comes to Blu-Ray on August 25th, 2020!
Fans in North America do not have to wait long to get more Lupin into their life, as Discotek Media’s upcoming release of the 1994 television special will release on August 25th, 2020!
Dragon of Doom (also known as Burn, Zantetsuken!) sees Lupin and Goemon became tangled up in an affair over a golden dragon statue - a treasure that is said to be greater and more powerful than Goemon’s sword - the Zantetsuken. The adventure sees the gang become tangled up with the Chinese mafia, and even exploring the depths of the Titanic in searched for the fabled statue.
This upcoming release marks the first time the sixth Lupin television special has been released in 1080p HD in North America, and includes the original Japanese language dub along with the FUNimation English dub from the 2003 DVD release.

Popular voice actress Toshiko Sawada has shared on Twitter this lovely memento from the Japanese voice actor of Daisuke Jigen, Kiyoshi Kobayashi.
The signature, which was requested by Sawada after the pair had worked together, reads as follows:

As a self-proclaimed fan of his for some time, Sawada was no doubt made up with his willingness to offer his signature and personalized note. That would no doubt be something we would have framed, and hang on the wall for an eternity!
