Lupin III: Part II Collection 4 is available now on DVD in the U.S!
The fourth and final DVD box set for the 1977 - 1980 Lupin III: Part II series is now available to buy in the U.S!
This release contains episodes 118 to 155, ending with Hayao Miyazaki's very own series sendoff, Farewell, my beloved Lupin!
Other classic episodes on the set include Albatross: Wings of Death, The Magnificent Team-Play Operation, The Bills That Came from God and The Target is Five Hundred and Fifty Five Meters Away!

If you are a fan of the show, this set is an absolute must-by. There are so many fantastic episodes in the final portion of Part II, many of which are drawn and animated by the famed Studio Telecom.
Online retailer RightStuf, TMS and Discotek Media's official partner for the set, has mentioned on their listing page at time of writing that they are currently out of stock. Keep your eyes peeled and don't think twice if an opportunity comes to pick up this set - you won't regret it!

Lupin III: The First animated .GIF is doing the rounds on socials!
Sometimes the strangest things can draw newcomers to the Lupin III franchise, and this animated .GIF of crackpot sharpshooter Daisuke Jigen from Lupin III: The First appears to be doing just the trick!
The .GIF, which first appeared on social networking website Twitter, has people fawning Lupin's bearded buddy, and for good reason! That chiseled jawline, that manly stubble, those elusive, dreamy eyes… what was it we were talking about? *ahem*
While the character designs and animation work from Lupin III: The First is certainly turning heads, there is still no planned release for the film in English speaking territories. The film does however release later this year in Italy, Spain, France, The Philippines and Brazil.
Lupin III: Prison of the Past home video release comes to Japan on February 19th!
The 28th Lupin III TV special, Prison of the Past, is releasing on home video later this month in Japan!
The film, which aired on television in Japan during November last year, will launch on both DVD and Blu-ray format on the 19th of February, 2020.
While there are currently no announced plans for an English language release of Prison of the Past, we are hopeful regarding the possibility of one later this year.
This is as January 2019's TV special, Goodbye Partner, has just received an English language dub and digital release in the West. It would be surprising not to see Prison of the Past get that same treatment - although as often is the case with digital media releases like this one, this may depend on sales of Goodbye Partner (and we are currently unsure about how well this has sold).
