Italy receives heap of digital and physical Lupin releases!
It’s a big month for the Lupin III franchise’s second home of Italy!
The European nation of Lupin super-fans are to receive eight brand-new releases in September — six digital films, and two physical releases.
Considering so much has dropped in the span of a single month, it can be hard to keep track of what’s new. Let’s take a look through all recent releases, with order and watch links for each!
Both Part III (Volume One), Part III (Volume Two) and the Lupin the IIIRD film trilogy boxed set are now available on DVD and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray versions will feature 1080p HD video, and both formats will include exclusive packaging and remastered Italian dubbed audio.
Part III contains episodes one to twenty-six in volume one, and episodes twenty-seven to fifty in volume two. Footage included across both volumes is completely uncensored, a first for Italian fans! The release also features original Japanese and partially re-recorded Italian dubbed audio.
The Lupin the IIIRD boxed set is exclusive to Fan Factory in Italy, and contains Jigen’s Gravestone, Goemon’s Bloodspray and Fujiko’s Lie. The packaging contains exclusive booklets, which include production artwork from all three films.
You can order the DVD / Blu-ray of Part III here for volume one and here for volume two, and the Lupin the IIIRD Trilogy here.
In addition, six classic Lupin films and television specials are now available on the Amazon Prime Video Italia streaming service.
Each upload contains HD video (where available), and Italian language audio. Click the link above, and search Lupin to find the full listing of what’s on offer.

What else could be in store for Italian fans?
While no official announcement has been made, we suspect television channel Mediaset will be licensing the upcoming Part 6.
It is likely that the new show will receive an Italian language dub, and it could be that it may air following its initial broadcast in Japan. We hope the wait won't be too long for the very deserving Italian fan base, who have stuck with the show since its first broadcast way back in the 1970s.
For now, we hope you can enjoy what's on offer this month — there’s certainly plenty to choose from, that's for sure!
