Cagliostro flavoured popcorn comes to Japan!
Filmarks are teaming up with TMS and local Japanese cinema chains this September for a very special Cagliostro themed surprise… and, maybe not the good kind.
To celebrate the 4K version of the film’s short re-run, which is set to begin across theatres in Japan from September 9th 2022, chains will be offering a unique flavour of popcorn to those with a Cagliostro ticket.
What flavour, you ask? Why… spaghetti-meatball, of course!
Mm-mmm. Delicious.
Look. We love popcorn, we love Cagliostro, and we especially love that one scene where both Lupin and Jigen fight over a delicious bowl of Italian cuisine in a local café—but this sounds the pits.
Surely this cannot taste good… can it? Maybe I’ll just take a liiittle bite~…
The popcorn can be purchased in small or large size, for 600 or 900 yen, respectively. If you do decide to take the plunge and buy some, we’d recommend picking up some fluids as well. Perhaps water, or a fizzy soda, just to take away that heavenly taste of spaghetti-meatball dusting, in case you need to.

A big thanks to Bartosz Gawlik for sending this cursed news in.
