Two new Discotek Media releases drop this March!
Two brand new Lupin III releases will hit North America on March 30th, 2021, all thanks to Discotek Media!
The first is a 1080p Blu-ray version of the 2000 TV special, Missed by a Dollar.
This special previously released on DVD in North America back in the mid-2000’s, and featured an English dub by FUNimation. This English dub is included on the new release, along with the original Japanese language version.

Secondly we have this gorgeous looking Blu-ray boxed set of the 2012 spin-off show, The Woman Called Fujiko Mine.
This show was named anime of the decade by website Fanbyte and is already approaching its ten year anniversary (wow, I feel old)! It’s very different in tone and style to the usual Lupin III stuff - but is a good entry point into the franchise for those not put off by its darker, more mature themes.
The Discotek release will include both the Japanese language and FUNimation English language dubs, along with a bunch of special features - including voice cast commentaries, a voice actor reunion, clean opening and endings, and more!
Despite the English dub being produced by FUNimation, Michelle Ruff from the Pioneer / Geneon cast retains the role of Fujiko Mine while Richard Epcar takes on Inspector Zenigata. Sonny Strait, Chris Sabat and Mike McFarland play Lupin, Jigen and Goemon.
