Two Lupin book releases are coming to Japan!
Two new Lupin III book releases are coming to Japan later this year.
The first focusses on the storyboards of the original television series, Part I.
It also includes commentary of Part I from video researcher Seiji Kano, and the republication of an interview with the late animator, designer, and teacher — Yasuo Ōtsuka.
It is currently up for pre-order for around 3,200 Japanese Yen, and contains 192 A4 sized pages.
The second is the republication of a classic Lupin III Gamebook by Futabasha.
This series originally spanned many volumes, and features a “choose your own adventure” set in the Lupin III universe that readers can play along to.
Only the first volume “Good Bye, Hollywood” has been put up for pre-order thus far, and contains 276 pages for around 1,900 Japanese Yen.
More details are to be announced closer to each books release date of October 21st, 2021.
