Part 6 to take a break due to the Olympic Winter Games!
Episode nineteen of Lupin III: Part 6 is not due to air until February 19th, 2022.
While both episodes seventeen and eighteen are due to broadcast this coming weekend, fans will have an unexpectedly long wait to see episode nineteen, which is itself a follow-up to the story featuring in episode eighteen.
If you have not been following them, the XXIV Olympic Winter Games are currently being held in Beijing. Footage from the event will take up the NTV television slot on the night of February 12th—effectively kicking Lupin from the schedule. Fans living abroad will also feel the sting, since Sentai Filmworks and streaming platform HIDIVE continue to keep in step with the Japanese television broadcast.
