Part 6 postcards coming to Japan!
Twenty-three postcards featuring Lupin III: Part 6 themed artwork are coming to Japan!
If you follow the lead character designer for the series, Hirotaka Marufuji on Twitter, you may already recognise the images on show here. Each piece references a corresponding episode from Part 6, and all are drawn by Marufuji himself. These were originally uploaded onto social media at the time of each episode’s broadcast in Japan, and made for a nice treat after catching the gangs latest adventure.
The set is exclusive to Japan, and only available for those that have bought both Blu-ray box sets from Part 6 (the latter of which is due for release later this month). That is, of course, a hefty expense for a postcard set, as after doing the maths, this will set buyers back around a whopping 48,400 yen (roughly 360 USD)!
Pre-orders for the second box set are due to ship around June 10th, with regular release due on June 22nd. You can visit the VAP store for both by clicking here.
If you do not fancy shelling out a small fortune for both sets, check out our gallery below, which includes the artwork of each. Please note that all images were all taken from Hirotaka Marufuji on Twitter, and are not owned by us!
