Part 5 and Part 6 comes to ITV streaming service in the U.K!
All episodes of both Lupin III: Part 5 and Lupin III: Part 6 can now be viewed within the United Kingdom for free, as part of the ITV HUB streaming service.
Both series will be included as part of a new partnership between ITV and Anime Ltd, which will help to bring hit animated shows to mainstream British television. This includes the likes of Escaflowne, Megalobox, Gunbuster, and Cowboy Bebop all joining Lupin III: Parts 5 and 6.
Later this month, in November 2022, the service is planned to change to a more modernized version of the platform—named ITVX. This rebranding is expected to be a big moment for terrestrial channel ITV, who are aiming to take on bigger named streaming platforms, such as Netflix and the BBC iPlayer.
While not exactly the go-to home of anime in the United Kingdom at the time of writing, it is nice to see Lupin making the jump to a more mainstream platform. Perhaps the inclusion of both shows on the ITV HUB will draw in some new fans? Only time will tell!
