Part 3 is coming to HIDIVE!
The classic pink jacket television series is about to jump right back into the spotlight, as it starts its run on digital streaming service HIDIVE next week!
Beginning next Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at 1:00 PM ET (17:00 UTC), two episodes of the classic 1980s animated show will become unlocked on the service in selected territories. From there, subscribers of the service can expect to see two “new” episodes a week, unlocking every Sunday, at 1pm ET.
All 50 episodes of the third mainline Lupin show will join Parts 1 – 6, which are already available on the service, alongside the 2012 released spin-off series, Sayo Yamamoto’s The Woman Call Fujiko Mine. The series, which was directed by Yuzo Aoki, is expected to appear on digital formats using the same 1080p HD video quality from the recent Discotek Media Blu-ray release, which hit shelves in the United States last year.
Unlike the feature film from this era of Lupin, Legend of the Gold of Babylon, the pink jacket television show has not yet received an English language dub. While we shouldn’t rule the possibility of a future Part 3 dub, for the time being, the show will be only be uploaded with Japanese audio and English language subtitles.
Details on which territories are to receive access to the series have yet to be revealed, and are expected closer to the initial air date.
