A modern take on the original Arsène Lupin is coming to Netflix in France!
France will be getting a Netflix show based on the original Arsène Lupin character. The setting takes place in modern times.
French actor and comedian Omar Sy will be taking the role of the gentleman thief. The new series has been created by George Kay (Criminal, Killing Eve) in collaboration with François Uzan (Family Business). The show is currently still in production with no set release date just yet.

Lupin III: The First gets second Italian language trailer!
Italian audiences are gearing up for the release of Lupin III: The First!
The first ever feature length 3DCG Lupin film releases in Italian cinemas on the 27th of February, 2020.
The film will launch with a full Italian language dub, with many of the original Italian voice cast members reprising their roles.
It's no doubt going to be a huge treat for long-time Lupin fans living in Italy, of which there are many!
New Monkey Punch focused book launches in Japan today!
A new book focusing on the work of Lupin III creator Kazuhiko Katō has released in Japan today!
The book, which is titled "The Memorial to Monkey Punch: A certain manga artists trajectory for sixty years" features various art pieces, interviews and memorials for the beloved creator. Guest texts and introductions will also be included in the book, as many famous figures mourn his passing.
