Discotek Media announces release date for Goemon’s Blood Spray on DVD!
The second in the Takeshi Koike trilogy of spin-off films Goemon’s Blood Spray will be coming to DVD in America on October 29th, 2019.
The release will include an all-new English dub, featuring new talents and some returning cast members from the original Geneon / Pioneer English dub. The Blu-Ray version of the same film is currently planned to release in America on September 24th, 2019.
You can pre-order the DVD release now over on Rightstuf, and if you live outside of America, you may already be able to stream the Japanese subtitled version of the film over on Amazon Video!

Lupin III TV documentary is announced!
NHK BS Premium will be broadcasting an hour-long Lupin III documentary on August 20th, 2019. The program will air as part of the long-running show, Another Stories: Crossroads of Fate.
The documentary will run between 21:00 - 21:59 and will feature interviews many of the series talents from the past fifty years, including Chiko Motomi, Baron Yoshimoto, Yu Kiyozono, Masaaki Ōsumi, Yasuo Otsuka, Takeshi Koike, Kanichi Kurita and more.
This sounds like an extensive documentary as it features many key figures from the series past. If you are interested in the history behind the show, and learning more about Monkey Punch, this is no doubt going to be a must see!

Wonda Coffee announces limited edition Lupin themed packaging!
Japanese coffee brand Wonda has announced that it will be stocking Lupin III themed cans from the 20th of August, 2019.
There will be thirty-six cans in total, and each features striking character artwork from Monkey Punch’s original manga. A total of twenty-four of the limited edition drinks will be of the Morning Shot variety, while the remaining twelve will be Gold Sugar.
