Director Takeshi Koike celebrates upcoming Hamanaka Town festival!
In celebration of the upcoming Lupin III festival in Hamanaka Town, film director and artist Takeshi Koike posted up a little doodle of the gang up on Twitter.
Koike, who is more recently known for directing the trilogy of Lupin the IIIrd films, started with the series back in 2012 as character designer and animator on The Woman Called Fujiko Mine. He is also well known for directing the 2009 animated film, Redline.
The drawing also acts as a homage to the late Kazuhiko Katō (Monkey Punch), who sadly passed away in April 2019 (we all still miss you, Mr. Monkey)!
