Greatest Heists book releases Aug 27th in France!
Editions Kana have revealed that Lupin III: Greatest Heists - The Classic Manga Collection, a new book celebrating the work of the late Monkey Punch, will be released in France on August 27th, 2021.
The announcement was made over on Twitch.tv yesterday by a panel of four speakers, which included Swiss Lupin III specialist, Camille Rosset.
This will mark the first time these original Monkey Punch stories have released with a French language translation. The book is 300 pages total, comes in a large edition with hard cover (just like it did in Japan), and a free sample is coming soon.
Editions Kana mentioned in their announcement tweet that the sales of this will determine whether or not they are to bring more Monkey Punch stories, translated into native language, to France.
The book is still due to release in other territories, such as in North America and the United Kingdom, later this year.

News regarding the upcoming book Lupin III: Greatest Heists - The Classic Manga Collection is due to drop on May 26th!
The information is to be delivered by French company Editions Kana, who have revealed that the collection will be part of their upcoming Twitch streaming schedule. The Lupin collection book is due to feature as part of their live stream show on the 26th of May at 7pm (GMT+2).
Previously released in Japan as a tribute to Monkey Punch after the creators passing in 2019, the Greatest Heists collection includes stories from both the original manga run, as well as the later released Shin Lupin series. The latter was previously known in the west as Lupin III: World's Most Wanted.
The tome will come in a beautiful large-trim hard cover, and will retail for around $23.99 USA / $30.99 CAN when it releases in North America, Canada, the United Kingdom and more during November, 2021.
