Discotek tease Part III release, and also need a helping hand!
Discotek Media are currently hard at work on the first official English language release of Lupin III: Part III.
The highly anticipated Blu-ray set was announced a couple of months back and will feature all 50 episodes, complete with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles.
Discotek staffer and long-time Lupin fan Brady Hartel showcased a quick look at some of his work on the set, giving a sneak peek at the current version of the Blu-rays main menu (pictured below).
In addition to this, Brady also teased some concept artwork of hotshot gunslinger, Jigen Daisuke.
Brady mentioned that this piece (pictured below), along with many others, will showcase as part of the sets special features. The team have uncovered plenty of concept artwork from Part III, some they believe may have never been seen online before.
It’s not like we needed another reason to pick up the set - but this is sounding to be like an unmissable special feature. We can’t wait to check out the full gallery of artwork!
Finally, Brady went on to ask the following:
Perhaps one of our keen readers may be able to offer him a helping hand?
Personally, we have never come across a credit-less opening of the second pink jacket intro sequence, but if one does exist, it would be amazing to have it as part of the Discotek release! Feel free to get in touch if you have any information that may help.
