Cagliostro live concert comes to Japan in 2022!
Yuji Ohno is celebrating his upcoming 80th birthday in style, with a two-day live concert screening of the 1979 film The Castle of Cagliostro.
Taking place at the Tokyo International Forum, Hall A, concert goers will be able to watch the classic Hayao Miyazaki film up on the big screen while listening to Yuji Ohno and his orchestra play live beside it. In addition, fans can also expect many “best of” hits from the veteran composer, as he plans to play a heap of his most famous tracks before and after the cinema showing.
Shigeru Matsuzaki, the popular Japanese vocalist who recently sang Super Hero and Theme of Lupin III for the 2019 television special Prison of the Past, is also due to perform at the event.
