Cagliostro and Fujiko Mine get new releases in Italy!
Part III is not the only thing getting a new release in Italy during 2021!
Both The Castle of Cagliostro and The Woman Called Fujiko Mine are set to drop on DVD and Blu-ray formats this summer. The pair will hit shelves alongside the ongoing weekly Lupin magazine, which has recently completed its green jacket run and is shortly moving on to the red jacket series.
This marks the first time the 2012 spin-off series The Woman Called Fujiko Mine has released on a home video format in Italy, and therefore this new set is highly anticipated as a result.
The Castle of Cagliostro will also be getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray version, similar to the one released in Japan during 2019 and in North America earlier this year. We are interested to see if the master used is the same as that of the Discotek Media version, or if any tweaks have been made.
As with previous Italian home video releases, Yamato Video and Anime Factory are behind both of these recent announcements. A full price list can be found below, with special thanks to Dario for compiling it!
