Part 4 ukiyo-e prints to go on sale in Japan!
Ukiyo-e prints showcasing artwork from Lupin III: Part 4s opening sequence are now on sale in Japan!
Made using a highly valued skill set dating back to the 17th century, these incredible woodblock prints are available to order online, and cost 77,000 yen each, or 231,000 yen for the full set.
Much like the Cagliostro and Fujiko Mine character specific ones that released a year or so back, these prints are estimated to be highly sought after. They will only be produced for a limited time—so if you have the cash, act fast.
Ukiyo-e is a hugely time-consuming process, and unfortunately, it is becoming rather a lost art. It is neat to see TMS utilise them, and immortalise the Lupin series on wood blocks in this way!
We’re confident that for whoever buys them, the prints will be worth every penny. Buyers in Japan can order them now via the official TMS shop.
