Japanese television channel Nittere Plus are soon to be broadcasting Lupin The Third: Exploring The Legendary History on the 3rd of December.

The television program is the latest Lupin documentary to release in Japan, and covers various different areas of the franchises history. It is airing as part of an ongoing promotional campaign for the upcoming 3DCG film, Lupin III: The First.

Kanichi Kurita, Kiyoshi Kobayashi, Daisuke Namikawa, Suzu Hirose, Tatsuya Fujiwara and Takashi Yamazaki are all involved with the documentary. Expect video interviews, interesting anecdotes and more!

There are currently no plans for a subtitled version of the documentary to release officially abroad - and we would suggest not to get your hopes up. These Lupin documentaries tend to remain in Japan, as nice as it would be for us to view it overseas!
