Surprise, the Lupin III Jam Zenigata March remix is now available!
The Lupin III Jam remix of Yuji Ohno’s Zenigata March is now available for your listening pleasure!
The track was originally announced as an exclusive bonus to the physical CD / LP album release, but has since made it online for everyone to enjoy - regardless of whether or not you plan on picking up the full album!
The well recognised Zenigata March tune originally featured in the 1977 - 1980 TV show Lupin III: Part II. It has since become the theme song of Lupin’s rival, Inspector Zenigata, and has been included in various different series, films and specials - including The Mystery of Mamo, The Last Job and more!
This particular version of the song is taken from the 2019 3DCG feature film, Lupin III: The First, and has received the remix treatment from the rather uniquely named 玉屋2060% (Wienners). It includes a more electronic heavy style with a teeny tiny bit of dubstep mixed in, but overall comes off as a catchy new take on a well loved tune!
An animated music video version of the song can be watched below - but you can also pick it up digitally through stores such as iTunes and Prime Music, or listen via your music streaming service of choice.
The Lupin III Jam remix album is due to receive a full album release later this year.
Pre-orders go up for the physical release in Japan on March 13th, 2021. Two formats of the album will be released - an audio CD version and a 12” inch LP.
The 12” inch LP vinyl record version is currently up for pre-order on import in North America, so if you have the equipment and don’t want to miss out, be sure to order a copy from RightStufAnime.com today!
There is still one bonus track left to come.
Despite being an extra on the physical album release, if this Zenigata March is anything to go by, we may see it uploaded online soon enough - good news for those not looking to splash out on the physical release!
